PCx Filament is a sustainable, modified polymer blend based on PC (polycarbonate), made from recycled industrial waste sourced in Europe.

Thanks to its modification, PCx is easy to print while offering very good mechanical properties and high temperature stability.

The special formulation improves layer adhesion and reduces warping, resulting in high-quality prints even with complex geometries. It also produces a smooth, even surface that can be easily post-processed – sanding, drilling, or gluing are no problem.

PCx can be printed on most common desktop 3D printers – an enclosure is recommended but not strictly required. It offers a perfect balance between high-end technical properties and easy handling.

Key advantages:

  • Excellent layer adhesion – no delamination
  • High heat deflection temperature (>110 °C) – does not deform under load
  • Dimensionally stable parts – low warping, precise fit
  • Good chemical resistance – against oils, greases, and diluted acids
  • Easy post-processing – sanding, drilling, gluing possible

Print Settings

  • Print temperature: 275°C ± 10
  • Bed temperature: 110°C ± 10
  • Printing surface: textured PEI sheet
  • Fan speed: max. 60%
  • Hardened nozzle required

  • PCx by Nobufil is a sustainable PC filament alternative, made from recycled industrial production waste sourced in Europe.

The material excels where it really matters: extremely high impact strength (45 kJ/m², unnotched) combined with good stiffness. It does not break brittlely but absorbs energy – ideal for clips, levers, housings, or other parts that need to withstand shocks in use.

Unlike many standard PC filaments, PCx is specifically optimized for 3D printing: low warping tendency, reliable layer adhesion, and a smooth surface that can be easily post-processed.

    Typical applications:

    • Mechanically stressed parts (levers, spring elements, snap-fit connections)
    • Heat-resistant components (fan shrouds, covers in warm environments)
    • Functional prototypes with high dimensional stability
    • End-use parts for direct use in machines or vehicles

Printing note: PCx prints on most desktop 3D printers (enclosure recommended). Low odor and minimal warping make handling pleasant.
