We specialize in recycling industrial plastic waste and producing sustainable 3D printer filaments that have the same or better properties than traditional 3D materials. This 3D printing startup was founded in 2022 by Alexander Datzinger and his partner, specialists in recycling with over 15 years of experience.

We are proud to be a part of an international technological revolution, to bring sustainability to 3D printing and to further develop it nationally and internationally. Our years of experience in plastics recycling and manufacturing granules and products from recycled plastics, combined with a rich technological environment and thorough control, allows us to produce 3D printing filaments with unique properties and performance that outranks traditional plastic filaments.

Alexander Datzinger

Alexander, founder and owner of pexopol GmbH, with more than 20 years of experience in plastic processing machines and raw materials, is increasingly focusing on recycled polymers for technical applications. Alexander believes that Nobufil products will become another innovative example of sustainable solutions made in Austria.


The production process

With 100% recycled material we create something new for your creativity

We obtain our starting materials from long-standing and reliable suppliers exclusively from the EU, mainly from Austria and neighboring countries. It enables us to ensure a high, consistent product quality and, thanks to the short transport routes, avoid long truck journeys and thus keep CO2 emissions low.

Manufacturing 3D printer filament


In a further step, we use the obtained from the recycling plastic granulate to produce high-quality filament with a constant diameter, which is excellent for 3D printing. The final product is vacuumed well, and also tested to guarantee the high quality of 3D material. When developing our materials, we try to take into account the most important requirements that the FFF printing process entails. Our products are constantly tested internally and externally to ensure that they can be easily processed on the most common desktop 3D printers.

We ensure the high quality of our products and test it thoroughly in all stages of pre- and  post production. Testing and controls start in our laboratory once we receive the plastic waste. We check its properties, purity, clean it further from the toxic elements, recycle it and then produce the 3D filaments. The end recycled product runs multiple tests as well.

Production of granules

The plastic waste is melted on our extrusion systems, mixed with additives to improve the properties, foreign matter and toxic elements are filtered out during the processing. At the final stage, we form new plastic granulate that is tested again,  and afterwards used for 3D printer filament production.
