Data processing contact

If you contact us, additional data may be processed together with the data from your visit to our website, relating to the following categories:

The processing of the data from the communication takes place only to the extent that is absolutely necessary and is justified in accordance with Art 6 Para 1b and 1f and enables the processing of pre-contractual obligations, contract processing and also represents a legitimate interest of our company in a satisfactory communication process.
 

Data processing web shop

When using our web shops in addition to visiting our website, further data is processed in the following setting:

  • Contact details (first and last name, date of birth)

  • Billing or shipping addresses

  • Email or telephone

  • Account and payment details

  • Ordering data and delivery information

  • Customer number

  • Data entered via contact form

  • Further communications from you
     

The justification for the processing of your data in the context of the web shop is justified by the purposes of sales and delivery processing. This also includes the use of the data to assert our legal claims and to defend against fraud. The data will also be passed on to our payment service provider Mollie BV, Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, the Netherlands (EU) for the purpose of payment processing.
We also comply with the statutory storage obligation according to § 132 BAO.
A use for direct advertising - as far as legally permitted - is also possible, whereby we hereby expressly inform you that you can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct advertising at any time.
The processing of the data is therefore justified to the extent required for the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art 6 Para 1B GDPR and also results from the overriding legitimate interest in a friction-free business process in accordance with Art 6 Para 1 L and 1F GDPR.

Data processing of a customer account

If you optionally register for a customer account with your consent, further data categories (in addition to Webshop) that are processed by us.

  • Wishlist and order history

  • Reviews and voting for purchased products

  • Customer segmentation parameters for offering targeted benefits

As part of the customer account, the processing of data is dedicated to the purpose of customer loyalty and the exchange of experience reports. The processing takes place through voluntary consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1A  GDPR and is also justified by our overriding interest in experiences and reviews of our products in quality management. With regard to the processing of your data with your consent, you can revoke this at any time, whereby the legality of the data processing that has taken place up to this point in time is not affected.

Duration of data storage

In general, data storage is only intended for as long as it is necessary for the respective purpose or justified by the legal requirements.
If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.
Storage obligations resulting from other areas of law are also complied with (for example, the tax storage obligation for business documents is 7 years according to §132 BAO).


The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the end of product liability (10 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfillment of the contract) of the DSGVO. In justified individual cases, a retention period of up to 30 years after the end of the business relationship is permissible to defend against legal claims.

We store data that we process in the context of making contact for up to 3 years after the last contact.

Legal information

We hereby provide the following information about the rights to data processing for the users of our services:

  • Right to information about which data is processed and stored in accordance with Article 15 GDPR

  • Right to correct and complete incorrect and incomplete data in accordance with Article 16 GDPR

  • Right to erasure of data, provided they are not affected by retention requirements with Article 17 GDPR

  • Right to restriction of data in accordance with Article 18 GDPR

  • Right to structured, machine-compatible data portability in accordance with Article 20 GDPR

  • Opportunity to object to the processing of data based on Art 6 lit e or f GDPR in accordance with Art 21 GDPR, in particular with regard to the processing of data for advertising purposes.

With regard to the processing of your data with your consent, you can revoke this at any time, whereby the legality of the data processing that has taken place up to this point in time is not affected.

If, contrary to expectations, your rights are violated when processing your data, we ask you to contact us immediately so that we can process your request quickly and transparently. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you also have the option of complaining to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
